Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ascension Health. In this position, you will work closely with pediatric patients and their families to perform diagnostic imaging studies. You will also collaborate with a team of radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care for our patients. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of two years of experience working as a Radiology Technologist, as well as a current certification in Radiology Technology from an accredited school. You should have a passion for providing excellent care to young patients and their families, and be able to provide a calm and reassuring presence in a sometimes stressful environment. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working independently. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform diagnostic imaging studies on pediatric patients.
  2. Collaborate with a team of radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care for patients.
  3. Demonstrate a passion for providing excellent care to young patients and their families.
  4. Provide a calm and reassuring presence in a sometimes stressful environment.
  5. Maintain current certification in Radiology Technology from an accredited school.
  6. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Work independently and efficiently.
  8. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care.
  10. Stay up to date with new technology and advancements in the field.
