- Dispensing Medications: The primary responsibility of the Retail Pharmacist will be to accurately and efficiently dispense medications to patients, ensuring they receive the correct dosage and instructions.
- Patient Counseling: The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for providing medication counseling to patients, including explaining potential side effects and drug interactions, and answering any questions or concerns they may have.
- Prescription Management: The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for managing prescription orders and ensuring they are filled and delivered in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for monitoring and managing the pharmacy's inventory, including ordering medications and supplies as needed and ensuring proper storage and expiration dates.
- Compliance: The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as ensuring all medications are dispensed accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: The Retail Pharmacist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses, to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
- Patient Safety: The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safety of patients by verifying medication orders and identifying potential drug interactions or allergies.
- Quality Assurance: The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for conducting quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and safety of all medications dispensed.
- Record Keeping: The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication profiles and prescription history.
- Professional Development: The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for staying up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in pharmacy practice through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution
Active And Unrestricted Pharmacist License In The State Of Employment
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Retail Pharmacy Experience
