Safety and Security Dispatcher

1. Monitor and respond to all incoming safety and security calls and alerts in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Coordinate with various departments and emergency services to ensure quick and effective response to safety and security incidents.
3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all safety and security incidents, including logs, reports, and documentation.
4. Monitor and operate security systems, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
5. Monitor and respond to fire alarms, emergency codes, and other safety alerts.
6. Dispatch appropriate personnel, such as security officers, medical staff, or law enforcement, to respond to safety and security incidents.
7. Provide clear and concise instructions to individuals in emergency situations, including directing them to designated safe areas.
8. Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated response to safety and security incidents.
9. Continuously monitor and assess security and safety risks, and make recommendations for improvements to enhance overall safety and security.
10. Remain up-to-date on all safety and security protocols and procedures, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
11. Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-stress situations, and provide emotional support to individuals in distress.
12. Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment.
13. Participate in regular training and drills to maintain readiness for emergency situations.
14. Act as a liaison between external emergency services and internal staff during crisis situations.
15. Adhere to and promote the mission, vision, and values of Ascension Health.
