  • Monitor patient data and interpret results to identify any changes or abnormalities
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate response to patient needs

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Monitoring Technology And Equipment: A Telemetry Technician Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Types Of Cardiac Monitoring Equipment And Be Able To Troubleshoot Any Technical Issues That May Arise.

  • Strong Communication And Documentation Skills: As A Telemetry Technician, You Will Be Responsible For Accurately Documenting And Communicating Any Changes In A Patient's Cardiac Rhythm To The Healthcare Team. This Requires Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills.

  • Ability To Interpret And Analyze Data: A Key Responsibility Of A Telemetry Technician Is To Monitor And Interpret A Patient's Cardiac Rhythm And Recognize Any Abnormalities. This Requires Strong Critical Thinking And Analytical Skills.

  • Familiarity With Medical Terminology And Procedures: To Excel As A Telemetry Technician, It Is Important To Have A Solid Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures Related To Cardiac Monitoring. This Will Help You Accurately Document And Communicate Information To The Healthcare Team.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Multi-Task: Working In A Fast-Paced Environment, A Telemetry Technician Must Be Able To Pay Close Attention To Detail And Effectively Manage Multiple Tasks At Once.
