
Coordinator-Benefits
Coordinates customer service response to inquiries and needs of associates, management and vendors regarding benefit plans. Assists with system enrollment processing for benefit plans. May assist with new hire processing including general benefits orientation. Tracks enrollment eligibility and provides reports for audit purposes. Coordinates retirement process, retiree medical and monthly billings for vendor payments. Maintains paper and electronic benefit files accurately. Administers benefit programs including new hire enrollments, life event changes, eligibility, deductions, and data coordination. Administers leave programs to include workers compensation, short term disability, FMLA, NYS PFL, intermittent and other leaves. Provides timely communication regarding leave status and return to work. Provides analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefit programs to associates, carriers, third-party administrators, and regulatory agencies. Manages employee benefit data including auditing, verifying eligibility, and reconciling invoices.
Bilingual preferred.
Previous experience in benefits coordination is a plus
