  1. Lead and direct the development of the oncology pipeline through translational research.
  2. Utilize scientific expertise to translate discoveries into innovative treatments for cancer patients.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement translational research plans.
  4. Identify and evaluate potential therapeutic targets and biomarkers for oncology indications.
  5. Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in oncology research.
  6. Provide strategic input and guidance to senior leadership on the direction of the oncology pipeline.
  7. Manage and mentor a team of scientists and researchers.
  8. Establish and maintain collaborations with external partners and key opinion leaders in the field of oncology.

  10. Drive the development and implementation of novel technologies and platforms to advance the translational medicine capabilities of the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In The Field Of Oncology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Oncology, Including A Ph.d. Or Md In A Relevant Field, And At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Translational Medicine In The Oncology Space.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Drug Development: A Strong Candidate Should Have A Demonstrated Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Translational Medicine Programs In Oncology, From Early Discovery To Clinical Development.

  • Strategic Thinking And Leadership Skills: The Director Of Translational Medicine - Oncology Must Have Strong Strategic Thinking And Leadership Skills, With An Ability To Develop And Execute A Comprehensive Translational Medicine Strategy For The Oncology Portfolio.

  • Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Regulatory Landscape And Requirements For Oncology Drug Development, Including Fda And Ema Guidelines.

  • Collaboration And Communication Skills: The Director Of Translational Medicine - Oncology Will Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Clinical Development, Research, And Commercial Teams. Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
