  1. Conduct computational chemistry research and analysis to support drug discovery and development projects.
  2. Utilize advanced computational techniques and tools to design and optimize new drug candidates.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement computational strategies.
  4. Analyze and interpret data from computational experiments and present findings to internal stakeholders.
  5. Stay current with the latest developments in computational chemistry and apply knowledge to enhance drug discovery efforts.
  6. Mentor and train junior computational chemists on techniques and methodologies.
  7. Contribute to the development and optimization of computational workflows and protocols.
  8. Work closely with medicinal chemists to design and prioritize compounds for synthesis.

  10. Maintain accurate and detailed records of computational experiments and results.
  11. Adhere to company and industry guidelines and regulations for computational chemistry research.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and productivity.
  13. Present research findings at conferences and scientific meetings.
  14. Collaborate with external partners and academic institutions to advance computational chemistry capabilities.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on computational chemistry techniques and methodologies within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry, Preferably In A Computational Chemistry Role

  • Proficient In Using Various Computational Chemistry Software And Tools Such As Schrödinger, Gaussian, And/Or Nwchem

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Drug Discovery And Development Processes, Including Molecular Modeling, Virtual Screening, And Lead Optimization

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret And Communicate Complex Data To Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
