- Design and execute complex in vivo studies to support drug discovery and development projects.
- Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date on current advances in in vivo pharmacology to contribute to the development of innovative research strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medicinal chemists, biologists, and pharmacologists, to design and implement in vivo studies that address key research questions.
- Analyze and interpret data from in vivo studies, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and optimize in vivo models to evaluate drug efficacy, pharmacokinetics, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines and protocols.
- Mentor and train junior scientists on in vivo techniques and methods.
- Continuously assess and implement new technologies and methodologies to improve in vivo pharmacology capabilities.
- Contribute to the preparation of scientific publications and presentations.
- Act as a subject matter expert in in vivo pharmacology, providing guidance and support to project teams.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and results.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external research partners.
- Contribute to the development and validation of new in vivo assays and models.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions.
- Adhere to ethical standards and practices in animal handling and experimentation.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field (E.g. Pharmacology, Biology, Or Related Field).
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Conducting In Vivo Pharmacology Studies In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Drug Discovery And Development Processes, Including Experience With Preclinical Models For Assessing Drug Efficacy And Safety.
Demonstrated Expertise In Experimental Design, Data Interpretation, And Statistical Analysis.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Stakeholders.
