Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Scientist/Associate Director of Pharmacometrics to join our team at AstraZeneca. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an innovative and collaborative environment dedicated to developing and delivering breakthrough medicines to patients.As the Senior Scientist/Associate Director of Pharmacometrics, you will be responsible for guiding and leading pharmacometric activities and initiatives in support of AstraZeneca’s drug development programs. You will lead a team of experienced pharmacometricians and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.To be successful in this role, you must have a PhD or equivalent in Pharmacology, Pharmacometrics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You must demonstrate expertise in the theory and application of pharmacometrics, including population pharmacokinetics, population pharmacodynamics, and exposure-response modeling. Additionally, you must possess strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
