
Athletic Trainer - Sports and Event Medicine

- Provide top-notch care and support for athletes with injuries and during rehabilitation.
- Work with a diverse group of athletes and provide individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize knowledge and expertise in sports medicine to effectively assess and treat injuries.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper care and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation.
- Stay current on industry developments and advancements in sports medicine.
- Collaborate with other athletic trainers and healthcare professionals to develop and implement injury prevention strategies.
- Educate athletes on injury prevention, proper techniques, and rehabilitation exercises.
- Provide emergency care and first aid during sporting events.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on progress and new information.
- Attend and participate in team meetings and educational opportunities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional care and service to patients.

Bachelor’s Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field: Atrium Health Requires All Applicants To Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor’s Degree In Athletic Training Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Certification As An Athletic Trainer: Candidates Must Possess Current Certification From The National Athletic Trainers' Association Board Of Certification (Nataboc) As An Athletic Trainer.
State Licensure: Atrium Health Requires All Athletic Trainers To Be Licensed In The State In Which They Will Be Working. This May Include Passing State-Specific Exams And Completing Continuing Education Requirements.
Experience In Sports And Event Medicine: Applicants Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As An Athletic Trainer In A Sports And Event Medicine Setting. This May Include Experience Working With Professional, Collegiate, Or High School Athletes.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Athletes, Coaches, And Other Medical Professionals Is Essential In This Role. Candidates Should Also Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build Relationships With Patients And Colleagues.
