Director Nursing Services

Atrium Health is seeking a highly experienced Director of Nursing Services to join our dynamic nursing leadership team. As a leader in our organization, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing nursing standards, processes and initiatives to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to our patients. The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree in Nursing or related field, along with a current RN license and at least five years of progressive nursing leadership experience. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about patient care and is driven to making a difference in the lives of the patients, families and communities we serve. The Director of Nursing Services will be an innovative leader who will bring a vision for the future of nursing at Atrium Health and will be an integral member of our nursing team.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement nursing standards, processes and initiatives to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
2. Lead our nursing team and provide direction for the future of nursing at Atrium Health.
3. Ensure that all nursing staff are appropriately trained and knowledgeable on relevant regulations and standards of care.
4. Create and maintain positive relationships with other healthcare professionals in the organization.
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the best quality of care for patients.
6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff.
7. Develop and implement systems to effectively manage patient care and workflow.
8. Foster an environment of collaboration and team spirit among nursing staff.
9. Ensure that all patient care practices and regulations are compliant with state and federal regulations.
10. Analyze patient care data to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them.
