1. Conduct hemodialysis treatments and monitor patients' vital signs, fluid intake and output, and overall well-being.
2. Prepare and maintain dialysis machines and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
4. Educate patients and their families on the dialysis process, self-care techniques, and potential side effects.
5. Document and maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and any complications.
6. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
7. Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, communicating updates to the healthcare team and implementing appropriate interventions.
8. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
9. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge in the field of hemodialysis.
