The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a thorough understanding of Human Resources principles and practices. We are looking for a professional who is adept at problem solving, adapting to changing circumstances, and providing guidance on a wide range of HR topics. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team to create and drive innovative solutions that meet the needs of the organization.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. A Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred. The HR Consultant must also have a strong working knowledge of human resources laws and regulations in the state in which they are employed.We are looking for a creative, hardworking, and organized individual who is excited to help Atrium Health reach its goals. Responsibilities of the HR Consultant:
- Provide guidance and advice on a wide range of HR topics.
- Identify areas of improvement, create and drive innovative solutions, and implement changes to meet organizational needs.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of state and federal human resources laws and regulations.
- Monitor trends and developments in the field of Human Resources and stay current on best practices.
- Assist with recruitment efforts by sourcing and screening potential candidates.
- Manage employee relations issues, including employee complaints and grievances.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Prepare and process HR paperwork, including onboarding and termination documents.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives.
- Maintain employee records and files in accordance with legal requirements.
