HR Consultant

At Atrium Health, we are looking for an experienced and motivated HR Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a thorough understanding of Human Resources principles and practices. We are looking for a professional who is adept at problem solving, adapting to changing circumstances, and providing guidance on a wide range of HR topics. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team to create and drive innovative solutions that meet the needs of the organization.The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. A Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred. The HR Consultant must also have a strong working knowledge of human resources laws and regulations in the state in which they are employed.We are looking for a creative, hardworking, and organized individual who is excited to help Atrium Health reach its goals. Responsibilities of the HR Consultant:

1. Provide guidance and advice on a wide range of HR topics.
2. Identify areas of improvement, create and drive innovative solutions, and implement changes to meet organizational needs.
3. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of state and federal human resources laws and regulations.
4. Monitor trends and developments in the field of Human Resources and stay current on best practices.
5. Assist with recruitment efforts by sourcing and screening potential candidates.
6. Manage employee relations issues, including employee complaints and grievances.
7. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
8. Prepare and process HR paperwork, including onboarding and termination documents.
9. Coordinate training and development initiatives.
10. Maintain employee records and files in accordance with legal requirements.
