- Develop and implement therapeutic programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being for patients.
- Utilize your expertise in recreation therapy to assess the needs of patients and create individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during recreational activities.

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to educate them on the benefits of recreation therapy and involve them in treatment planning.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the practice of recreation therapy.
- Maintain a positive and compassionate attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.

Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Recreation Therapy Or A Related Field, From An Accredited Program.
Current And Valid State License As A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (Ctrs).
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As A Recreation Therapist In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices In Recreation Therapy And Ability To Develop Individualized Treatment Plans.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Teams To Provide Patient-Centered Care.
