Music Therapist

Responsibilities:

1. Provide music therapy services to patients in accordance with best practices
2. Develop individualized music therapy plans to meet the individual needs of patients
3. Foster relationships and build rapport with patients and families
4. Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes
5. Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
6. Maintain knowledge of current music therapy practices and techniques
7. Practice cultural sensitivity and understanding
8. Document patient progress in accordance with Atrium Health policies and procedures
9. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and other meetings as needed
