Responsibilities:
- Provide music therapy services to patients in accordance with best practices
- Develop individualized music therapy plans to meet the individual needs of patients
- Foster relationships and build rapport with patients and families
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
- Maintain knowledge of current music therapy practices and techniques
- Practice cultural sensitivity and understanding
- Document patient progress in accordance with Atrium Health policies and procedures
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and other meetings as needed
