- Administer and score psychological tests to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning of patients.
- Collaborate with clinical psychologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in the development of treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of patient assessments and test results.
- Provide support and guidance to patients during testing, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in psychological testing and assessment.
- Communicate test results and recommendations effectively to patients, their families, and other healthcare providers.

Bachelor's Degree In Psychology Or A Related Field: Atrium Health Requires All Psychometrists To Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Neuroscience, Or A Related Field. This Educational Background Ensures A Strong Foundation In The Principles Of Psychology And The Ability To Administer And Interpret Psychological Tests Accurately.
Certification In Psychometric Testing: Atrium Health Prefers Candidates Who Have Obtained Certification In Psychometric Testing From A Recognized Organization, Such As The National Association Of Psychometrists. This Demonstrates A Specialized Knowledge And Skill Set In Administering And Interpreting Psychological Tests.
Experience In Administering And Scoring Psychological Tests: Atrium Health Seeks Candidates With At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Administering And Scoring Psychological Tests.
