Recreation Therapist

At Atrium Health, we are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Recreation Therapist to join our team and enhance our patient's quality of life. This Recreation Therapist will provide an array of therapeutic activities to our patients to aid in their recovery and help them achieve their goals.The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's Degree in Recreation Therapy or a related field, as well as an active certification from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC). Furthermore, they should possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to think independently and make decisions quickly. Responsibilities:

8. Comply with all state and federal regulations and policies related to the practice of recreation therapy.
9. Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients.
10. Act as a role model for patients and promote healthy lifestyle habits.
