- Provide expert clinical support and guidance to patients over the phone.
- Utilize critical thinking skills and medical knowledge to accurately assess patient needs and provide appropriate triage recommendations.
- Maintain a compassionate and empathetic approach when interacting with patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure proper understanding and follow-up.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure timely and appropriate interventions.
- Accurately document all patient interactions and provide updates to the patient's medical record as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on current healthcare practices and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations set forth by Atrium Health and governing bodies.
- Participate in regular training and education opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Identify and report any patient safety concerns or adverse events.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the call center and efficient patient flow.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Atrium Health's mission and values.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Equivalent From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse License In The State Of Employment.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Effectively Triage Calls And Provide Quality Patient Care.
Excellent Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
