  1. Provide exceptional and compassionate healthcare services to patients of all ages.
  2. Utilize strong clinical skills and knowledge to administer urgent care treatments and procedures.
  3. Assess and monitor patient's overall health and well-being.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure they are informed and comfortable with their care.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  7. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  8. Monitor and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve patient care processes to ensure the highest quality of care.
  11. Provide education and support to patients and their families about their healthcare needs.
  12. Stay current with healthcare advancements and participate in ongoing training and development.
  13. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
  14. Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
  15. Support and promote Atrium Health's mission and values in daily interactions with patients and colleagues.
  16. Serve as an advocate for patients and ensure their needs are met.
  17. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and facilitate patient care.
  18. Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy.
  19. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  20. Demonstrate a patient-centered approach and provide empathetic and compassionate care to all patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess A Current And Valid Registered Nurse License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification Is Required For All Registered Nurses At Atrium Health, Including Those In The Urgent Care Department.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience: Atrium Health Prefers Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Nursing Experience, With A Focus On Urgent Or Emergency Care.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: Urgent Care Nurses Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Team Members, As Well As Think Critically To Make Quick And Accurate Decisions In Emergency Situations.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Urgent Care Department At Atrium Health Can Be A High-Stress And Fast-Paced Environment, So Candidates Must Be Able To Work Well Under Pressure And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously.
