  1. Register patients for hospital services and procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
  3. Collect and record patient demographic and insurance information.
  4. Explain hospital policies and procedures to patients and their families.
  5. Ensure all necessary paperwork and consent forms are completed and signed.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  7. Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient registration processes.
  8. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions.
  9. Accurately enter and update patient information in electronic medical records.
  10. Maintain knowledge of insurance plans and coverage requirements to ensure accurate billing.
  11. Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues with coverage or claims.
  12. Monitor patient registration and admission processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  13. Train and mentor new registration staff members.
  14. Stay up-to-date on healthcare laws and regulations related to patient registration.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills.
