- Register patients for hospital services and procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
- Collect and record patient demographic and insurance information.
- Explain hospital policies and procedures to patients and their families.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and consent forms are completed and signed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient registration processes.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions.
- Accurately enter and update patient information in electronic medical records.
- Maintain knowledge of insurance plans and coverage requirements to ensure accurate billing.
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues with coverage or claims.
- Monitor patient registration and admission processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Train and mentor new registration staff members.
- Stay up-to-date on healthcare laws and regulations related to patient registration.

Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Procedures.

Ability To Multitask And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment.
