- Develop and implement a comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy for Atrium Health, aligning with the organization's mission and values.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into all areas of the organization, including hiring, training, policies, and practices.
- Serve as a thought leader and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and in the larger healthcare community.
- Lead the development and implementation of programs and initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, such as cultural competency training, employee resource groups, and community partnerships.
- Partner with HR and other departments to ensure fair and equitable recruitment, hiring, and promotion practices.
- Develop and monitor metrics to track progress and measure the effectiveness of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to leaders and employees on diversity, equity, and inclusion matters, including conflict resolution and cultural sensitivity.
- Conduct regular assessments of the organization's diversity and inclusion climate and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion and apply them to Atrium Health's initiatives.
- Represent Atrium Health at external events and conferences to promote our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
