Job Description

Atrium Health is seeking an experienced Service Engineer - Radiology with an eye for detail and a passion for providing top-notch medical equipment support. We are looking for an individual with a strong technical background and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for a variety of radiology equipment and devices, including x-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound machines. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of radiology equipment. Additionally, you may be responsible for responding to emergency calls and providing technical support to imaging departments. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years' experience working with medical equipment, excellent communication and customer service skills, and a working knowledge of x-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound imaging. A degree in an engineering field is preferred but not required. Additionally, you must possess a valid driver's license and be able to lift and move heavy equipment. Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshoot, install, and repair radiology equipment, including x-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound machines.
  2. Respond to emergency calls and provide technical support to imaging departments.
  3. Perform preventive maintenance and other scheduled check-ups on radiology equipment.
  4. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  5. Maintain accurate records of repair and maintenance work.
  6. Ensure all safety standards are adhered to when working with medical equipment.
  7. Keep up to date with the latest technologies in radiology equipment.
  8. Maintain a valid driver's license and be able to lift and move heavy equipment.
