
Simulation Operations Specialist

- Manage and maintain state-of-the-art simulation equipment and facilities to ensure they are functioning properly and meeting the needs of healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for healthcare professionals using simulation technology, including scheduling, setup, and breakdown of equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify their training needs and develop simulation scenarios that align with their learning objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in simulation technology and incorporate them into training sessions to continuously improve and enhance the learning experience.
- Create and maintain documentation and training materials for simulation equipment and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in training sessions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with simulation equipment and facilities, and communicate any maintenance or repair needs to appropriate parties.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of simulation equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with other simulation operations specialists and healthcare professionals to share best practices and ensure consistency across all simulation activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensuring that all simulation activities are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve simulation operations processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness of training sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input and suggestions for improvement to enhance the overall simulation program.
- Act as a liaison between simulation users, including healthcare professionals, students, and faculty, and the simulation center, addressing any concerns or feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular audits of simulation equipment and facilities to ensure they meet quality standards and are properly maintained.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new simulation programs and initiatives to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry.
- Uphold the mission and values of Atrium Health by providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients and contributing to the advancement of healthcare through simulation technology.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working In Healthcare Operations Or Simulation Technology.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Simulation Technology And Techniques.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Healthcare Professionals.
Familiarity With Healthcare Regulations And Standards, Such As Hipaa And Joint Commission Requirements.
