
Manager, Commercial Ship Repair Business Development
Lead business development efforts for the Austal USA’s commercial ship repair business primarily focused on the Mobile repair facilities Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial sector and the US Government sector. Identify strategic opportunities to grow business; develop shaping strategy and customer call plans to support capture of new business. Lead efforts for the preparation of quotes for all commercial repair opportunities. Coordinate with Facility GM for the scheduling of the dry dock and pier space. As required, support business opportunity development with US Government agencies to include DoD, NOAA, MSC, and MARAD.
10-year experience in commercial ship repair market
Demonstrated experience in developing proposals in commercial ship repair market space
Knowledge of Navy and Military Sealift Command ship maintenance processes
Experience preparing winning proposals and leading capture efforts for ship repair opportunities
