
Material Program Financial Specialist
Responsible for financial planning, analysis and projection of program material and subcontract costs. Explore current and historical financial data and predict future results. Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement; help drive process and policy improvements. Prepare reports and projections based on this analysis. Forecast future expenditures and create rent versus buy analysis to support program capital expenditure requests. Coordinate with other members of the program office and finance team to review financial information and forecasts Generate financial models and forecasting. Establish a ship’s budget and work with buyers and production management to create spend plans. Create and continually monitor material spending versus the budget, researching variances and generating variance analysis reports and budget adjustment requests as needed.
Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
2 years’ purchasing, accounting or financial experience
Working knowledge of and experience in EVMS reporting and analysis preferred
ODBC experience a plus
