
Welding Equipment Inventory Specialist
Monitors, tracks and verifies that welding equipment inventory levels are maintained to specified quantities at buffer locations on a daily basis. Identifies critical equipment shortages by component and reports shortages to supervisor. Issues replacement welding equipment/components to production personnel on a one for one basis. Obtain signature of personnel receiving equipment on electronic wireless device. Assure all welding equipment is properly identified before moving utilizing a color coded tagging system. Makes recommendations for increasing or decreasing R&M inventory quantities. Transports inoperable weld machines and components to the weld machine repair areas from the inoperable equipment queues in the MMF and Final Assembly. Monitor inventory database quantities and types of R&M components issued daily while accurately inputting data into inventory management system. Re-orders consumable gas inventory via CribMaster.
Two years relevant experience in a field such as warehousing, logistics, inventory control, or shipping/receiving preferred
Gain certification to operate a fork lift within 60 days of accepting position
Experience with computer based inventory system preferred.
