Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and organized professional to join Bank of America as our Assistant Vice President, Quantitative Finance Analyst. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your exceptional quantitative analysis skills to help us make smart financial decisions. You need a strong understanding of quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and data science to be successful in this role. You must be a creative problem-solver who is comfortable working with large datasets and finding innovative solutions. As our Assistant Vice President, Quantitative Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in helping us to maintain a healthy financial position for Bank of America.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and analyze quantitative models to assess financial risks and opportunities.
  2. Create sophisticated financial models utilizing data science and quantitative analysis.
  3. Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts to support decision-making.
  4. Identify trends and patterns in large datasets, and develop actionable insights from them.
  5. Develop strategies to optimize capital allocation and minimize financial losses.
  6. Monitor financial markets and industry trends to inform financial decisions.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of financial strategies.
  8. Keep abreast of current and upcoming financial regulations and ensure Bank of America is compliant.
  9. Develop presentations and reports to summarize financial analyses and present recommendations to senior management.
  10. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts as needed.
