- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities within the organization's systems and networks.
- Analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results to determine the severity of identified vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Monitor and analyze security events and alerts to identify potential security incidents and respond in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and industry best practices to ensure the organization's security measures are effective and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions and controls to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct security awareness training and education for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Participate in incident response activities and provide technical expertise to contain and mitigate cyber threats.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate vulnerability findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor and assess the organization's security posture, providing regular status updates and recommendations for improvement.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Security, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Cyber Security, Vulnerability Management, Or Penetration Testing
Strong Understanding Of Network And System Security Principles, Protocols, And Standards
Knowledge Of Vulnerability Scanning Tools Such As Nessus, Qualys, Or Rapid7
Professional Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Ceh Are Preferred.
