Mainframe Security Engineer
At Bank of America, we are looking for an experienced Mainframe Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in mainframe security engineering and technology, and will be a part of the team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions on our mainframe platform.We are seeking an individual who is passionate about technology and security, and brings a fresh perspective to the team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of security engineering principles, mainframe security technologies, and be comfortable working with a wide variety of stakeholders.The minimum qualifications for this position include: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; 5+ years of experience in mainframe security engineering; and experience with mainframe security technologies such as RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret. Familiarity with other security technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and encryption solutions is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions on the mainframe platform
- Develop and maintain mainframe security engineering principles and best practices
- Monitor and analyze mainframe security technologies such as RACF, ACF2, and Top Secret
- Provide technical expertise to the team regarding mainframe security technologies
- Keep up with the latest security trends and technologies
- Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop and document processes and procedures related to mainframe security
- Troubleshoot and respond to incidents and security issues
- Work with stakeholders to ensure the security of the mainframe
- Research and recommend security solutions for the mainframe platform
