  1. Develop and implement trading strategies for the FICC desk, in line with the overall objectives and risk appetite of the organization.
  2. Monitor and analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential opportunities and risks for the FICC desk.
  3. Collaborate with other departments and senior management to ensure alignment of trading strategies with overall business goals.
  4. Lead and mentor a team of traders, providing guidance and support in executing trades and managing risk.
  5. Monitor and manage the risk exposure of the FICC desk, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk management policies.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and identifying potential business opportunities.
  7. Stay informed about industry developments and changes in market conditions, and adjust trading strategies accordingly.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, industry associations, and other financial institutions.
  9. Continuously evaluate and improve processes, systems, and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FICC trading desk.
  10. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and other forums to promote the brand and establish thought leadership in the FICC market.
  11. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement training programs for traders and other staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in FICC trading.
  12. Monitor and analyze the performance of the FICC desk, providing regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  13. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  14. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the FICC trading desk.
  15. Contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the organization through effective management of the FICC trading desk.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Ficc Trading: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Ficc Trading, With A Deep Understanding Of Fixed Income, Currency, And Commodity Markets. This Experience Should Also Include A Track Record Of Successful Trades And Risk Management.

  • Strong Analytical And Quantitative Skills: The Vp Of Ficc Trading Should Possess Advanced Analytical And Quantitative Skills To Analyze Market Trends, Identify Potential Opportunities, And Make Sound Trading Decisions. This Includes Proficiency In Financial Modeling, Statistical Analysis, And Risk Assessment.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Vp, Ficc Trading At Bank Of America, The Candidate Will Be Required To Interact With Various Stakeholders Internally And Externally. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building And Maintaining Relationships With Clients, Colleagues, And Regulators.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Compliance Procedures Related To Ficc Trading. This Includes Knowledge Of Risk Management Protocols, Trade Reporting, And Market Regulations.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: The Vp Of Ficc Trading Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Traders And Analysts.
