Desktop Engineer
Responsible for the development, planning, monitoring and implementation of technical aspects of the Bank’s Patch Services and controls. Ensure the continued integrity of the Bank’s Patch Services, follow best industry practices and are deployed and optimized to work within and with an awareness of the banks overall security fabric. Assist in strengthening technical measures to protect bank resources and business information. Develop and implement IT Patch policies covering Operating Systems and 3rd Party Applications. Work closely with Application, Network and Security Teams in the ongoing enhancement of Patch methodologies and data / host security at the Bank.
Requires 5 years minimum prior relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of scripting and creating software packages
Experience in Windows Operating Systems, SCCM Current Branch, Patch Managment, software packaging.
Hands‐on experience concentrated in system and workstation patching and delivery of patches.
Good knowledge of systems hardware, software, and system administration
