Coding Specialist

They must also have a strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding principles and guidelines. The Coding Specialist must be able to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. They should demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care. Responsibilities:

8. Generate and review reports for accuracy and completeness.
9. Respond to coding-related inquiries from internal and external customers.
10. Participate in continuing education to stay up to date with coding best practices.
