ED Team Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic ED Team Coordinator to join our Emergency Department (ED) team at Baptist Health South Florida. The ED Team Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of activities and personnel within the ED, and will ensure that all team members are working in harmony to provide the best possible care for our patients.The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of healthcare administration, team management, and problem-solving skills. They should be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with both staff and physicians. Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate daily activities and personnel within the ED, ensuring a harmonious working environment.
2. Monitor team performance and provide feedback to staff and physicians.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with ED staff and physicians.
4. Handle problem-solving and conflict resolution.
5. Ensure that all team members adhere to healthcare policies and procedures.
6. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and staff morale.
7. Monitor departmental budgets and maintain accurate records.
8. Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
9. Liaise with other departments and external organizations, as required.
10. Develop and implement staff training and development programs.
