ED Tech, Paramedic

Baptist Health South Florida is seeking an experienced and compassionate ED Tech, Paramedic to join our team. We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is experienced in emergency medical procedures and committed to providing efficient and effective patient care.The ideal ED Tech, Paramedic candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic certification and at least one year of experience in the field. You must also possess a strong knowledge of medical terminology and protocols, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

5. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff members.
7. Maintain all necessary records and documentation.
8. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up to date on best practices.
9. Assist with patient transport and transfers.
10. Adhere to all healthcare laws and regulations.
