MCI Research Lab Technician

At Baptist Health South Florida, we are looking for an MCI Research Lab Technician that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of our patients. The MCI Research Lab Technician will be responsible for carrying out a variety of laboratory activities related to the study of the effects of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and the development of novel interventions. This position will require the successful candidate to be knowledgeable of the principles, techniques, and practices of neuroscience research and have the ability to interpret experimental results. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biology, or a related field• Demonstrated experience in laboratory environment• Knowledge of laboratory safety and sanitation practices• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

1. Design and execute experiments related to mild cognitive impairment (MCI)
2. Monitor and analyze data to interpret experimental results
3. Collaborate with other laboratory personnel to ensure experiments are conducted efficiently
4. Assist with the development of novel interventions
5. Maintain laboratory safety and sanitation practices
6. Document all laboratory activities accurately and thoroughly
7. Maintain accurate records of laboratory supplies and equipment
8. Prepare detailed reports and presentations of research results
9. Present research findings to peers and stakeholders
10. Provide support to other laboratory personnel as needed
