
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Baptist Health South Florida is looking for an experienced and passionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in our Nuclear Medicine Department, performing imaging studies and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and maintain quality control. You will also be responsible for patient safety, ensuring that all safety standards are met, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited school, be registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology, and have experience working with patients in a healthcare setting. You should have strong organizational and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilites:
- Perform imaging studies and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to established protocols
- Monitor patient safety and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain quality control of all imaging studies
- Educate patients on Nuclear Medicine procedures and answer any questions they may have
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of patient information
- Assist with the development and implementation of new policies and procedures in the Nuclear Medicine Department
- Collaborate with radiologists, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Nuclear Medicine Department Manager
Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills
Certification In Nuclear Medicine Technology
Associate Or Bachelor's Degree In Related Field
