Nurse Auditor

At Baptist Health South Florida, we are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Nurse Auditor to join our team. The Nurse Auditor will be responsible for monitoring the quality of nursing care provided to patients and ensuring compliance with Baptist Health’s policies and procedures.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a current RN license in the state of Florida. They should also have at least two years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting, and knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations.The Nurse Auditor should have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to patient safety and quality care, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments. Responsibilities of the Nurse Auditor:

1. Monitor the quality of nursing care provided to patients and ensure compliance with Baptist Health’s policies and procedures.
2. Maintain a current RN license in the state of Florida.
3. Develop and implement audit strategies and programs.
4. Identify areas of potential risk or non-compliance with regulations.
5. Investigate and analyze patient charts and documentation.
6. Maintain accurate records of audit findings and corrective actions taken.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
8. Communicate audit results and provide feedback to the nursing staff.
9. Act as a resource to nursing staff on quality improvement initiatives.
10. Develop and implement strategies to improve nursing practice and patient care.
