Supply Technician

Baptist Health South Florida is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Supply Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.To be successful in this role, you must possess an associate’s degree in a related field, plus at least one year of relevant experience in a health care setting. A certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required. Additionally, you must be able to use and navigate a variety of computer systems, including inventory management systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate records of supply inventory levels and order materials as needed.
2. Ensure timely delivery of supplies to medical staff.
3. Monitor and review supply orders for accuracy and completeness.
4. Track and process supply orders in accordance with department policies and procedures.
5. Monitor and adjust inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure the best pricing and service.
7. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
8. Develop and execute strategies to reduce supply costs.
9. Address customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
10. Utilize computer systems to track and manage supplies.
