- Assist licensed therapists in providing quality care to patients undergoing physical therapy treatments.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the therapist.
- Help set up and prepare treatment areas for patients, including equipment and supplies.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities as directed by the therapist.
- Escort patients to and from treatment areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, and other healthcare team members.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
- Continuously expand knowledge and skills through training and education opportunities.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their recovery process.
- Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Therapy Aide Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Demonstrate Basic Academic Skills And Knowledge.
Certification In Physical Therapy Aide: Candidates Should Have A Valid Certification In Physical Therapy Aide From A Recognized Institution. This Certification Should Cover Topics Such As Anatomy, Physiology, Medical Terminology, And Therapy Techniques.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Prior Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Physical Therapy Department, Is Preferred. This Will Demonstrate The Candidate's Familiarity With Medical Procedures And Patient Care.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Therapy Aide, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Communicate With Patients And Collaborate With The Therapy Team.
