- Develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of existing data privacy controls and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data privacy considerations are integrated into business processes and systems
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential data privacy risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Serve as the main point of contact for data privacy inquiries and incidents, and ensure timely and appropriate response and resolution
- Stay up-to-date on new data privacy laws and regulations and communicate any changes to relevant stakeholders
- Lead and manage a team of data privacy professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Work closely with legal, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data privacy compliance across the organization
- Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness and understanding of data privacy best practices among employees
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with data privacy policies and procedures
- Prepare and present reports on data privacy compliance and incidents to senior management
- Foster a culture of data privacy awareness and accountability across the organization.
Extensive Knowledge Of Data Privacy Laws And Regulations: The Data Privacy Operations Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Privacy Laws And Regulations Such As Gdpr, Ccpa, And Other Relevant Laws To Ensure Compliance And Mitigate Risks.
