  1. Conduct comprehensive analysis of the equity derivatives market to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the business.
  2. Collaborate with various teams (trading, risk management, technology) to develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the equity derivatives business.
  3. Serve as a subject matter expert on equity derivatives products, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and clients.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing equity derivatives products and make recommendations for improvements or changes.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and industry experts.
  6. Stay informed about industry regulations and market developments, and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  7. Create and deliver presentations and reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  8. Mentor and train junior analysts and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  9. Work closely with technology teams to design and implement new systems and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Proactively identify and address any potential risks or issues that may impact the equity derivatives business.
  11. Continuously track and report on performance metrics and key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation within the business.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Equity Derivatives Products: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Equity Derivatives Products Such As Equity Options, Swaps, And Futures, As Well As Their Underlying Market Dynamics And Pricing Models.

  • Extensive Experience In Business Analysis: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Working As A Business Analyst In The Financial Industry, With A Focus On Equity Derivatives. They Should Be Able To Effectively Gather And Analyze Business Requirements, And Translate Them Into Functional Specifications For Development Teams.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: Barclays Is A Regulated Financial Institution, And The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Relevant Regulations Such As Dodd-Frank And Mifid Ii, And Their Impact On Equity Derivatives Products And Processes.

  • Strong Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills: This Role Will Require Working Closely With Various Stakeholders Such As Traders, Risk Managers, And Technology Teams.
