Job Description

Developing and maintaining quantitative models and methodologies used for business financial planning. Generating regulatory reporting requirements and forecasting Income Statement and Balance Sheet components for businesses. Formulating and applying mathematical and statistical modeling techniques using Python and R. Working on theoretical modeling, empirical-testing, historical back-testing, statistical analysis of market data, numerical implementations of analytical modules, and model documentation. Analyzing and defining data requirements, business revenue segmentation and business drivers. Performing reviewing, calibrating, and testing of models to ensure adequacy, and provide support for business usage of the models. Working on compliance of models and documentation with internal and regulatory requirements, providing analytical support to the Finance and IT teams for team deliverables and interactions.

Job Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in statistical model development

  • A good knowledge of data analysis, theory and statistical techniques (such as linear or nonlinear models, logistic regression, macroeconomic forecast0

  • Masters or PhD in quantitative discipline preferred

  • An understanding of the fundamental principles of the CCAR and other stress testing exercises
