- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives for managing the portfolio of clients, in alignment with the overall company goals and objectives.
- Oversee and manage a team of portfolio managers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, client needs, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing personalized solutions to meet their financial objectives.
- Utilize data and analytics to evaluate portfolio performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize returns.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies and procedures related to portfolio management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and risk management, to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
- Act as a subject matter expert on portfolio management, providing guidance and support to colleagues and promoting best practices.
- Communicate regularly with senior management, providing updates on portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Barclays, promoting the company's values and commitment to excellence in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
Extensive Experience In Portfolio Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Portfolio Management, Preferably In A Financial Institution Such As A Bank Or Investment Firm.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Vice President Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Portfolio Managers And Analysts, Therefore They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Guide And Motivate Their Team Towards Achieving Goals.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Financial Markets: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Financial Markets, Including Equities, Fixed Income, And Alternative Investments. They Should Also Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Portfolios In Different Market Conditions.
Strategic Thinking And Decision-Making Abilities: As A Key Member Of The Senior Management Team, The Vice President Should Possess Excellent Strategic Thinking And Decision-Making Abilities To Drive The Growth And Profitability Of The Portfolio Management Division.
