Barclays is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President for India Treasury Risk Management, specializing in Liquidity Risk and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB/ALM Risk).   1. Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure financial stability and growth in a rapidly evolving market.
  2. Monitor and assess liquidity risk and interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB/ALM risk) to safeguard the bank's financial position.
  3. Optimize the bank's balance sheet to support business growth and profitability.
  4. Stay updated on regulatory requirements and market trends to ensure compliance and proactively identify potential risks.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives that align with the bank's risk appetite and business objectives.
  6. Lead and mentor a team of risk management professionals, providing guidance and support in complex risk management situations.
  7. Conduct periodic risk assessments and stress tests to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, regulators, and external auditors.
  9. Prepare and present reports on risk management activities and recommendations to senior leadership.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve risk management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Proactively identify and escalate emerging risks and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate them.
  12. Participate in industry forums and conferences to stay updated on best practices and industry trends in Treasury Risk Management.
  13. Foster a culture of risk awareness and accountability across the organization.
  14. Act as a subject matter expert on Treasury Risk Management, providing guidance and support to other teams and departments as needed.
  15. Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Economics, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Financial Data.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Treasury Risk Management, With A Focus On Liquidity Risk And Irrbb/Alm Risk.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Indian Regulatory Requirements And Market Trends Related To Treasury Risk Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills, With The Ability To Liaise With Senior Management And External Regulators.
