Job Description

We’re looking for someone with relevant retail experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a passion for books and literature. As a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, you’ll be the face of the store, responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for customers and providing exceptional service in order to drive sales. In this exciting role, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the store’s culture and contribute to the success of the business.

Responsibilities: -Greet customers in a friendly and inviting manner. -Respond to customer inquiries and provide knowledgeable information about books, literature, and other products. -Assist customers in locating products and making purchases. -Organize and stock shelves and displays. -Process sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency. -Maintain a neat, organized, and clean work area. -Contribute to a positive and team-oriented atmosphere. -Maintain a working knowledge of store policies, procedures, and the services offered. -Participate in training activities and other learning opportunities. -Perform related duties as assigned.
