Required Qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent• At least 1 year of customer service experience • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Enthusiasm for books and reading • Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional customer service to customers • Demonstrate product knowledge and provide recommendations to customers • Maintain store appearance and keep shelves organized • Help customers locate books or locate special orders • Assist with processing incoming and outgoing merchandise • Lift and carry heavy boxes • Operate cash registers and process payments • Assist with store promotions and events • Work independently and collaboratively with the team • Exercise problem-solving skills when dealing with customer inquiries • Follow safety protocols while handling and stocking merchandise
