
Cafe Manager
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Cafe Manager to join our Barnes & Noble team. Our Cafe Manager will be a brand ambassador, responsible for ensuring a delightful and memorable cafe experience for our customers. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a great sense of customer service, we’d love to hear from you.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory position. You should have an excellent understanding of food safety regulations, and a background in food service or hospitality is a plus. We’re looking for someone with a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:
• Serve as a brand ambassador and ensure a delightful and memorable cafe experience for customers • Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe, including customer service, food preparation, and staff management • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety regulations • Train and supervise cafe staff, including hiring and scheduling • Manage inventory and ordering of products and supplies • Maintain a clean and organized cafe space • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty • Monitor customer feedback and take necessary actions to ensure customer satisfaction • Track cafe performance metrics and analyze data to identify areas of improvement
