
Customer Experience Bookseller
At Barnes & Noble, we believe that our customers are our most important asset. We are looking for a Customer Experience Bookseller to join our team and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and a strong commitment to customer service. The Customer Experience Bookseller should have an aptitude for problem-solving and an ability to build relationships with customers.The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate clearly and effectively, and have a positive attitude. We are looking for an individual with a minimum of one year of customer service or retail experience and a familiarity with bookselling. Knowledge of special collections, such as children’s books, is a plus. The Customer Experience Bookseller should also have a high school diploma or equivalent.If you have a passion for books and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
- Build relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Solve customer issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a positive attitude and be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Have knowledge of special collections, such as children’s books.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Follow store policies and procedures.
- Assist customers with purchases, returns, and exchanges.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of books and bookselling.
- Monitor store inventory and restock shelves as needed.
