Journeyman
Installs, replaces, performs maintenance and repairs on electrical systems. Responsible for correcting electrical deficiencies and repairing faulty electrical systems. Installs new electrical systems to upgrade and expand services. Responsible for electrical preventative maintenance including inspecting existing electrical wiring, equipment and tools. Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, work sites and shop. Keeps abreast of current professional and technical knowledge.
At least 5 years job-related journeyman experience
One-year certificate from College or Technical School
Familiar with the National Electric Code
