Coating Shift Engineer

As a Coating Engineer, you will be part of a team that provides 24/5 technical support to the Coating Production lines. You will drive process and occupational safety by adhering to all BASF safety rules and policies. You will be an integral part of optimizing slurry preparation and coating line processes by working with Operators and Technical support functions to identify and eliminate sources of scrap and quality issues, as well as finding ways to manufacture slurry and parts as efficiently as possible. You will work closely with other departments such as Process Engineering and Maintenance to communicate priorities and distribute information back to the shift teams. Greater than 90% of time will be spent on the manufacturing floor, working with Operators and Technicians from Coating, Slurry Prep and other departments.
